Idlewild made a welcome return in 2015 with their album Everything Ever Written, which reached number 20 in the UK Charts. The album was championed in the press by the likes of The Independent, The Times, Guardian, Drowned in Sound, Q, Kerrang!, The Skinny and many others.

Canadian actor Jay Baruchel (How To Train Your Dragon, This Is The End, Robocop) also starred in the video for Every Little Means Trust, the third single taken from the album, after the band discovered he was a longtime fan.



Having completed a Japanese, US and UK tours the band ended 2015 with a special Hogmanay concert in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh with Biffy Clyro, the city where Idlewild formed 20 years ago.
