Moneytree return with the third part of The Great Indoors triptych. The record continues the theme of the previous two EP’s with the band collaborating with various musicians, producing an organic, exciting sound unique only to Moneytree.

The band have been developing steadily over the last few years, with members (and brothers) Campbell and Oliver Austin, now joined by Jimmy Hatherley on guitar and electronica producer Lewis Renshaw on bass. The Great Indoors Part II exhibited the potential of the revamped line- up and served as an indication of bigger and better things to come in the future.

The future is now, and The Great Indoors Part III takes the band’s intricate alternative sound to a whole new level. This record sees collaborations with Band Of Skulls on the track “Grave & Aloof” and Thomas Tantrum, The Moulettes and Histories Of Rosenberg on the song “World of Autumn”. The eclectic sound of the record is reinforced by a multitude of musicians playing a plethora of instruments including horns, cellos, likembe (thumb piano), a percussion group and even a saw!

The raw sound is brought together beautifully by producer Joe Gibb who has worked with The Kinks, David Bowie, Madonna, Leftfield and Million Dead and marks the return of singer Campbell Austin’s voice after a year long sabbatical due to a growth on his larynx. Not that you’d notice though. He shows no ill effects of the break with his voice showing-up fantastically on tracks such as “Medicineland”.

The EP was recorded live in a remote cottage in Wales, which reflect Moneytree's much hailed live performances. They are a band that offer more than just straight-up indie, with moments of genuine talent for song writing and musicianship that is unparalleled, whilst making a cohesive quality record that will both intrigue and inspire.
