Propelled by a buoyant energy, Youth races with scuzzy, shimmering riffs and a contagious sunny charm reminiscent of the likes of noughties favourites Hot Hot Heat. Exuding a playful zest, it’s another slice of uplifting indie-rock that’ll have you up and dancing on first listen, and singing along for days afterwards.
Formed when school friends Euan Bryden (lead vocals), Aabid Kanji (drums) and Ed Miguens (rhythm guitar) joined forces with Taylor Lacey (bass) and Daz McManus (lead guitar), Only Sun have previously received acclaim from BBC 6 Music, Clash, The Revue and Louder Than War, and wowed crowds at venues such as The Old Blue Last and Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen. With festivals such as Kendal Calling, The Alternative Escape and Camden Rocks also already under their belts, the band now look set to continue to charming listeners with this perfect summer anthem.
