"Manchester risers with a dark, pop-etched sound..."

Manchester’s Stalagmites return with their latest slice of infectious dark pop. Projectile Dysfunction is out now via Veta Records.

Inspired by the difficulties of keeping a band together and the struggle of navigating your way through the music industry, Projectile Dysfunction is an energy-fuelled indie anthem. It races with scuzzy hooks alongside the warm, northern twang of frontman Bradley Lynch’s vocals, sounding akin to Interpol or Editors with a psychedelic edge.

Bradley (lead vocals / bass) and Alex Hardman (guitar) formed Stalagmites in Salford in 2010. In an unexpected turn of events, the band reunited with their original drummer, Daniel Jones, last year. The trio have already received acclaim from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, Radio X’s John Kennedy, as well as publications such as The Revue and With Guitars. Stalagmites now hope to continue building their fan base with this addictive new release.
