The 286

"... a musically rich and utterly charming love

song..."
- Folk Radio UK

Originally formed in South East London, musical collective The 286 have now released their new single, Time Immemorial.

The first in a series of releases to come out over the next year, Time Immemorial is a slight departure from the band’s usual uptempo sound. A stripped back acoustic ballad, it’s filled with sweeping strings and soaring impassioned vocals as delicate finger-picked melodies flow with ease. With a gentle orchestral splendour, The 286 have created a musically rich and utterly charming love song that’ll tug at the heartstrings in all the right ways.

Starting out when frontman Spencer Hannabuss posted an advert on the internet for classical musicians to join his band, The 286 have spent the last couple of years building a reputation across London and the South East for their engaging live performances. Now, having graced stages at Beautiful Days festival, Liverpool’s infamous Cavern Club, and at The Jazz Café supporting ‘60s legends The Zombies, The 286 are ready to charm listeners far and wide with their heartfelt new single.

Time Immemorial, the new single from The 286, is out now.
