KVASIR

KVASIR

On the back of his successful self-titled debut EP release in 2016, KVASIR returns with a brand new single, French Girls, out now via AWAL.

Having been named one of the top 25 Scottish acts to watch in 2017 by BBC Radio’s Vic Galloway, KVASIR further enhances his burgeoning reputation on the Scottish music scene through another stunning dance track. French Girls is another atmospheric French House track that straddles the line between retro dance music made famous by the likes of Giorgio Moroder and the contemporary sounds of Digitalism and Justice. Eminently danceable due to it’s funk-driven baseline and guitar segments, French Girls pulls you in through its memorable chorus and hook; a sound The Line of Best Fit describes as “…euphoric techno-pop…”.

Despite the clandestine nature of the project, and not knowing who is behind the mask, KVASIR’s debut EP gained a well of impressive support from the likes of the aforementioned The Line of Best Fit, Clash Magazine, The Skinny, BBC Radio Scotland and Amazing Radio. With the sun setting on another summer, KVASIR is aiming to extend the heady summer nights through his exhilarating dance music as he gears up to release three singles over the course of the next three months.

French Girls by KVASIR is out now via AWAL.
