This is the second video released from The Cadbury Sisters forthcoming EP Close, out June 16th. The video for single 'Milk' premiered on Gigwise in May and is also available to watch on YouTube now.
The 'Rowntree Cadbury Milk remix' received its UK debut on XFM, and was created especially for the single's release by Blur drummer Dave Rowntree. This is Dave's first remix outside of his work with Blur, and his reason for choosing The Cadbury Sisters was simple: '...with my name being Rowntree and theirs being Cadbury, I thought wouldn’t it be nice if we could merge the chocolate empires somehow?'. You can listen to it via The Cadbury Sisters' SoundCloud.

Douga release free track ‘Still Waters’!

Douga have released another free download, 'Still Waters'. The track is taken from their album The Silent Well, released via Do Make Merge Records and available on BandCamp.
The video for 'Still Waters' premiered exclusively on Artrocker this week, and you can also watch it via the band's YouTube channel.
The track can also be streamed and downloaded from Douga's BandCamp page.
'Kids Of Tomorrow' was the first free track taken from the album, showcasing the band's ability to create Lo-Fi yet detailed songs, with distorted vocals backed up by a swell of hypnotic guitar. You can also download their second promotional track, 'Blue Is Nothing', from our SoundCloud page. Both tracks expertly showcase Douga's distinctive sound, that's gained them support from the likes of Drowned In Sound, BBC 6 Music's Gideon Coe & Tom Ravenscroft, Gigwise and For Folk's Sake.
Citing artists like Broadcast, Yo La Tengo and Grizzly Bear as influences due to their use of more leftfield textures set against orthodox melodies, there is something about Douga’s music that perfects a sound that can only be identified as their own, albeit inspired by disparate influences picked up along their journey.
So consume Douga’s music and make some time for it amongst frenetic reality – it’s the very least it deserves.
The Silent Well is available via Do Make Merge Records on BandCamp.
Unmap release video for ‘Pirates’!

“...unabashedly fun electro mayhem.”
- The Line Of Best Fit
Unmap have unveiled the video to their latest single, Pirates. The video premiered on Noisey, but you can watch it via Sinnbus' YouTube channel.
You can also watch the video for 'The Gold Route' via YouTube.
You can stream and download 'ABC (Hierarchy of The Alphabet)' for free from Sinnbus' SoundCloud page.
Unmap’s dark, intricate and quirky electro sound is a head turner. Pirates showcases front woman Mariechen Danz’s, deep, sultry female vocals dancing playfully with the band’s unique take on their modern electro sound. Whether Pirates hits you immediately or slowly grows inside you like an aching hunger, you’ll want to hear more. The video for Pirates also reveals the band’s artistic, avant-garde side, which is no surprise since Mariechen is heavily involved with the modern art scene in Berlin.
Comprised of Mariechen Danz (vocals), Alex Stolze (violin, guitar, electronics), Matthias Geserick (bass) and Thomas Fietz (e-drums), the band started life with Mariechen and Alex with the intention to make music to soundtrack her art performances. However, not before long, the pair’s soulful, lucid melodies took a life of their own and Unmap was born. Alex had previously worked with Berlin based bands Dictaphone and Bodi Bill and as the songs took shape, Matthias and Thomas were added to the mix.
Pirates is available via Sinnbus on iTunes. The album Pressures is also available on iTunes.
Introducing… Clockwork Radio!

Clockwork Radio announce their debut album No Man Is An Island, released 8th September 2014 via Poly Tune.
Beginning life as a side project in rural Wales, Clockwork Radio have since explored half of Europe, playing anywhere from rooftops to boats and festival stages. Sculpting their own brand of alternative rock whilst on the road, the band self-released 4 EPs over a two year period, collaborating with artists Agnes Cecile and Juan Carlos Riviera on artwork and videos. Tracks from the EPs were quickly picked up by the likes of BBC Radio One, BBC 6Music, XFM, Q and NME Radio.
You can stream and download album track 'Fever' for free from Clockwork Radio's official website.
As an independent band on the road, Rich Williams (guitar & vocals), Dan Wiebe (vocals & percussion), Sam Quinn (vocals, bass & rhodes) and Iwan Jones (lead guitar & vocals) have been grateful for the hospitality of strangers and fans, affirming the importance of community in order to survive whilst on tour. It's these experiences that have shaped the band's sound and vision, realising that the connection between the band and the audience is the most important part of playing music.
In late 2013 the four piece recorded their debut album No Man Is An Island over two days in December in Manchester's 80 Hertz Studios. The album sees the band take a completely new approach to the way they record, taking a snapshot of their live sound, capturing the character of their live shows.
The album is an energetic and accomplished collection of brightly coloured compositions, each member of the band painting part of a musical mural to create an intense and vibrant sound that embodies good times in the sunshine. Tracks like ‘The Balance Of Water’ give the band the opportunity to slow down proceedings and show off their knack for stripped down melodies and subtle vocal harmony. The release is a great showcase for a band who are very much confident in their sound and the effect it has on their audience.
With previous single Feel It Up gaining airplay from BBC 6Music, BBC Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw and named as one of BBC Introducing… Manchester’s Tracks Of The Year, this debut album opens a dramatic new chapter for Clockwork Radio.
No Man Is An Island is released 8th September via Poly Tune.

IndianRedLopez and CS Buchan are delighted to announce their forthcoming 7-inch split single Any Given City / Leave It All Behind via Fit Like Records due for release on 16th June 2014.
Check out 'Any Given City', the first video from the split single, on IndianRedLopez's YouTube Channel.
The video for CS Buchan's 'Leave It All Behind' will be released in June.
Head over to SoundCloud to stream both tracks from the split single.
The collaboration is the first vinyl release on Fit Like Records, which was founded by CS Buchan himself, and features an impressive list of contributors such as IndianRedLopez, The Little Kicks, Kitchen Cynics and Best Girl Athlete - Buchan’s daughter Katie who’s ethereal vocals feature on both tracks.
Any Given City is the first track taken from the recent IndianRedLopez album release Commit (now available to order in Europe). The song perfectly encapsulates the sentiment of a superbly crafted album and sums up why it has received praised in the press for the craft of the band’s ambitious songwriting. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Mew, Any Given City’s sprawling sounds offer a warmth and beauty only heightened by the interchange of harmonies between Mike Chang and the alluring vocals of Best Girl Athlete.
Leave It All Behind sees CS Buchan continue an exploration of Scottish indie folk that has seen him compared to contemporaries such as Kris Drever, John McCusker, and Roddy Woomble. A dream-like, rhythmic guitar piece is brought to life by the aforementioned vocals of Katie Buchan (Best Girl Athlete) who’s voice has a warmth and maturity that belies her tender years of just 15 years old.
Both tracks are a testament to a burgeoning and talented music scene in the north-east of Scotland and a fitting launch for a record label that surely will be one to watch out for in the future.
The 7” vinyl of Any Given City/Leave It All Behind will be released via Fit Like Records on 16th June 2014. Pre-order it on BandCamp.
