Vigo Thieves Single Review and Video on Geeks.co.uk!

The wonderful folk over at Geeks.co.uk have kindly taken time out of their busy schedule to review the forthcoming single from the Vigo Thieves - Love Is Dead.

Comparing the band to such luminaries as Glasvegas, the website state that it's a single that is "well worth a shot"!

"...it’s that pumping chorus, pulsing basslines and those desolate rythmic breaks which facilitate the band’s pride of place under the indie-disco umbrella..." - Geeks.co.uk

As well as the single review, you can also have a sneaky look at the video that accompanies the track as well as a stream of the tune itself.

What Would Jesus Drive release their new EP - Fragile Mansions.

Hot on the heels of Your Awful Kids, electro indie rockers What Would Jesus Drive are kicking off 2011 with another rip roaring EP - Fragile Mansions.

Never ones to tamper with a winning formula, these four tracks maintain the band's down to earth, gritty, lo-fi approach to song writing with satirically barbed lyrics slathered all over the top for good measure.

Having played along side bands such as Dirty Pretty Things and The Drums, as well as being one of the favourites on the Introducing stage at Radio One's Big Weekend, they're now set to make a dent in the festival circuit in 2011 as well as undertaking a UK and European tour in support of the EP and laying groundwork for the release of their debut album, Black and Blue, in March 2011.

In a period where the least exciting elements of the 1980s seem to be "en vogue", Fragile Mansions reminds the listener where the soul of a lost punk generation lies - simple guitars without ego, choppy verses, razor sharp lyrics and anthemic choruses. It's custom made for shouting at the top of your voice while pogoing around like a maniac.

Fragile Mansions will be available on CD from the EyeSeeSound website and digitally from Amazon and iTunes. You can also download the EP absolutely free from the band's Official Website.

If you can't see the video for Fragile Mansions below, you can view it directly on What Would Jesus Drive's YouTube page.

If you'd like to catch the band live, check out their gig listings on their Official Website.
