Bloodlines release new single ‘All Your Love’!

"...moody melodies and heartfelt songwriting..." - Team Rock

For fans of... Reuben, Rival Schools, Arcane Roots

Scottish rock band, Bloodlines, have had an eventful past twelve months. Winner of the Best/Rock Alternative category at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards last year has allowed the band to cement their status as ‘one’s to watch’ north of the border. Now, the band are excited to bring their high energy, yet intricate, brand of rock music to a wider UK audience with the release of single All Your Love, out now via Bangover Records and available to buy and stream on iTunes and Spotify.

The video for All Your Love premiered exclusively on Team Rock and is now available to stream on the band's YouTube channel.

The audio for the single premiered on Spill Magazine and is now available to stream on the Bloodlines Soundcloud page.

Owing as much to contemporary Scottish rock acts such as Biffy Clyro and Sucioperro as they do to alt.rock pioneers such as Rival Schools and A Perfect Circle, Bloodlines have produced a thoughtful, explorative piece of music wonderfully accented by melodic vocals, playful time signatures and probing guitar pieces, blended together to great effect by an impressively tight rhythm section.

Comprised of Jamie Coltart (guitar, vocals), Andy MacGillivray (guitar), Steve Bull (bass) and Jamie Allanach (drums, vocals), the four-piece began life when Andy and Jamie started playing together as 13 year old kids in their hometown of Fort William. After moving to Glasgow to push their music they then came together as a foursome due to their shared love of watching the intense live performances of bands like At The Drive-InSlaves and Pulled Apart By Horses. Their often chaotic, but highly energetic, stage presence helped build their impressive reputation on the Scottish music scene culminating in appearances at King Tut’s, T in the Park and Belladrum Festival as well as support from the likes of the Scotland on SundayThe Skinny and Tenement TV and BBC Radio Scotland.

All Your Love by Bloodlines is out now via Bangover Records and available to buy and stream on iTunes and Spotify.

lntroducing… All Flags Are Grey!

"... pop at its most immediate..."

- Clash

For fans of... Anohni, PJ Harvey, Grace Slick

East London based Andrea Chamberlain and Leon Brown - aka All Flags Are Grey - have previously worked on musical projects together, and have now reconnected to create music, releasing their debut single Bare Bones on 30th June 2017 via Seven Wishbones.

The single premiered on Clash and is available to stream via the band's Soundcloud page now.

Tackling ideas of addictive behaviour and self-inflicted loss, Bare Bones is about showing vulnerability and the feeling of isolation we all encounter at some point in our lives. An intense and cinematic creation, the track flows with pounding beats and the twinkling whirr of electronic melodies alongside Chamberlain’s beguiling, soulful vocals. It’s a truly enchanting sonic delight.

Not only is frontwoman Andrea Chamberlain a skilled artist and musician, she also has an impressive entrepreneurial spirit. She currently co-owns a boutique publishing company that’s partnered with a label in Japan, and has had numerous releases across Asia.

With their previous musical ventures receiving acclaim from the likes of MTV, NME and Kerrang!, All Flags Are Grey often explore ideas of the sexualisation and objectification of women in their work. Now, with this latest project, they hope to create innovative performance art, using visuals and film to enhance the poignant message that they convey through their music. Prepare to be utterly blown away!

Bare Bones, the debut single from All Flags Are Grey, is out on 30th June 2017 via Seven Wishbones.

Animal House release ‘Hot Bodies’ EP!

“...filled with bolshy energy...” - Clash

"... bombastic and energetic..." - The Revue

“...a delightful whirring cacophony of chaos that’s impossible not to love.” - Gigslutz

"...packed full with unapologetically cheeky gems..."
- A Music Blog, Yea?

For fans of... The Strokes, Cage The Elephant, Twin Peaks, The Parrots

Cheeky as monkeys and catchy as the flu, Animal House have now released their brand new EP Hot Bodies, which is out now and available to stream on Spotify.

To celebrate the release, you can stream the EP in its entirety exclusively via Northern Transmissions now.

The band have also shared their new video, choreographed by dance duo The Hiccup Project, for the vibrant single Coca Cola. The video premiered on
The Revue and is available to watch now via the band's YouTube channel.

The audio for the single premiered on Gigslutz and is also available to stream via the band's Soundcloud page now.

Animal House are here to kick a bored, robotic generation up off their arses and dancing to guitar music again. With accolades and experience coming out of their ears, there is little doubt that they are poised to become one of indie music’s leading guitar bands. Nonsense, cheekiness and foolish yet on-point observational humour are quickly becoming their trademarks as well as their tight, rebranded 60s garage pop sound. The band’s latest single Coca Cola is raucous, yet well thought out; a welcome break from the EDM bashing that is dominating the pop charts.

Uprooted from the sweet sun in Australia, Animal House relocated to the UK to bring their casual charm onto European stages and into their tracks. Whilst they joke about their hedonistic adventures in the unique pseudo-culture of Brighton, the underlying message is solid; when it comes to entertainment, they’re not trying to impress you - the music - the energy, it speaks for itself.

Fresh off the back of a hugely successful European tour and having also previously supported Courtney Barnett, The Wedding Present, The Preatures, Surfer Blood and Drenge to name a few, Animal House are ready to go. Having already received significant acclaim for their debut EP Sorry from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Sean Keaveny, as well as NME, DIY and Clash, Animal House are now gearing up to release their forthcoming EP Hot Bodies. The EP is a cohesive and well-thought-out barrel of guitars, shakers and raspy, sexy vocals and it’s marvellously stupid.
You can hear the new EP live on the 28th July when Animal House will play The Hope & Ruin, Brighton.

Single Coca Cola is taken from the EP, Hot Bodies, both available to stream on Spotify.

Gallery 47 announces new album ‘Adversity Breeds’!

For fans of... Ultimate Painting, Andrew Bird, Morgan Delt, Bob Dylan

“…a soothing piece of melancholia

that dwells on mature, rounded

themes.”
- Clash

“…Jeff Buckley-esque vibrato with sheer youthful exuberance…”

- Drowned in Sound

Since the release of his critically acclaimed album Clean, alt-folk songwriter Gallery 47 aka Jack Peachey has been preparing to share his colourfully political follow up album, Adversity Breeds. This second album, as part of a trilogy, will be out on 22nd September 2017 via AWAL / Bad Production Records.

The video for Cold Fire, the first track to be taken from the forthcoming album exclusively premiered on Left Lion and is now available to stream on Gallery 47's YouTube channel.

Jack explains “if Clean was the romantic album, Adversity Breeds is the divorce”. Influenced by a holiday row between Peachey and some family members who commented negatively on today’s youth, Jack combines real life events and fiction to create a captivating blend of upbeat, sentimental and bittersweet tracks. Each track on the album offers something poignant and different. Whether its the lighthearted nature of ‘Analytical & Open’ or the dark, brooding songwriting of ‘In Odessa’, Peachey continues to create soft, wistful tales of melancholy that are highly relatable. Jack maintains his signature soft, vibrato throughout whilst effortlessly blending his intricate guitar plucking and storytelling charm echoing Bob Dylan’s raw, colloquial writing style.

Gallery 47 originally formed ten years ago as a six-piece band in Loughborough. Once the band went their separate ways, Jack decided to continue as a solo artist under the same name, becoming a regular on the live circuit in Nottingham and currently in his new home of South East London. Jack called upon a number of the same musicians who performed on Clean to play on Adversity Breeds, introducing a sense of familiarity to the latter, entwined with layers of texture and emotion throughout.

Amongst Jack’s supporters are BBC Radio 2‘s Bob Harris, BBC 6music’s Tom Robinson, The Guardian, Drowned in Sound, Clash and Folk Radio to name a few. Gallery 47 has also supported a number of well established acts like Paul Weller, Alice Phoebe Loe, Ian McCulloch and Andrew Montgomery as well as playing on the BBC Introducing stage at T in the Park.

With Adversity Breeds, Jack tackles the subject of standing up for a good cause whilst being rejected by those closest to you. A subject that is possibly at its most relatable now more than ever.

Adversity Breeds by Gallery 47 is due for release on 22nd September 2017 via Bad Production Records.

"...mixes stark, jangling guitars with

confessional lyricism..."

- Team Rock

"...a blend of jangly guitars and stark lyrics, creating dark, pure indie."
- The List

"...distinctive vocals and accomplished songwriting..."
- The Scotsman

Starting out as Leo Bargery’s solo project, Edinburgh-based Mt. Doubt has since expanded into a collective of six musicians, each bringing something unique to the table. Now, the sextet are here to release their new EP The Loneliness Of The TV Watchers, out now via Scottish Fiction Records and is available to buy and stream on iTunes and Spotify.

The video for their latest single Reference Books, which premiered on The List is also available to watch on Mt. Doubt's YouTube channel.

The single originally premiered on Team Rock and is also available to stream via Mt. Doubt's Soundcloud page now.

The video for Mt. Doubt's previous single Tourists premiered on The National and is also available to watch via Mt. Doubt's YouTube channel.

Mt. Doubt has also shared B-side track Let Us Prey, which is loosely focused on the disheartening realisation that life's expectations rarely match up with reality. The track is available to stream via Mt Doubt's Soundcloud page now.

Reflecting on the everyday sense of disillusionment and fear that affects all of us, The Loneliness Of The TV Watchers is a heartfelt collection of indie-rock ballads. From the luscious harmonies and uptempo beats of Tourists - which is inspired by Bargery’s fear of flying - to the poetic lyricism and sweeping melodies of ‘Purity’, each track offers an insight into the banality of everyday life. As Bargery’s impassioned, deep baritone flows, with strong shades of the likes of The National or Frightened Rabbit, each anthemic creation tugs at the heartstrings with a twinkling honesty.

Since the release of their critically acclaimed albums In Awe Of Nothing and My Past Is A Quiet Beast, Mt. Doubt have received praise from the likes of The Scotsman, The National, The Skinny as well as BBC 6Music and BBC Radio Scotland to name but a few. They are also no strangers to the Scottish live circuit, having performed at T In the Park, Brew At The Bog and supported We Were Promised Jetpacks, Admiral Fallow and White Lies amongst others.
