Ex Libras Cut(s) EP Scores 8/10 in The Digital Fix!

Not content with their wonderful debut album Suite(s), the band have recently released an acoustic reworking of five tracks from the album on an EP named Cut(s). The EP has received some great praise from music journalists thus far and this praise continues with an excellent review from The Digital Fix, scoring 8/10!

"The arrangements on tracks like 'Teenage Eyes', and in general thoughout the entire EP, display an achingly dramatic yet emotionally charged approach to song-writing and reinterpretation." - The Digital Fix

You can read the review in full HERE.

Cut(s) reinvents the tracks “Underachiever”, “Sum Numbers”, “Discharge”, “Phat Knickers” and “Radar” into a whole new ethereal form highlighting the bands' versatility and musicianship, making it the perfect soundtrack to the end of the summer.

Ex Libras Cut(s) Ep Scores 8/10 in The 405!

Ex Libras brand new EP Cut(s) was released on Monday, and has been given another fantastic review, this time from The 405.

"Their ability to bring new elements into their music makes for a more fulfilling EP." - The 405

You can read the full review HERE.

Cut(s) approaches the songs from Ex Libras' critically acclaimed debut album Suite(s), from a different angle. The band have taken the bare parts from five of the songs on their aforementioned debut album (in order: “Underachiever”, “Sum Numbers”, “Discharge”,“Phat Knickers” and “Radar”) and reshaped, remoulded, remixed and reinvented them into their own version of what an acoustic EP should be the only way Ex Libras could - thus creating a new genre for the EP - loopcoustica.

Cut(s) is available to buy today on iTunes for just £3.95!

What Would Jesus Drive EP Review in Buzzin Music!

What Would Jesus Drive release their EP The Girls Are In Charge through EyeSeeSound on 4th October and have started to receive big licks already!

The online music website, Buzzin Music, have given the up and coming release an excellent review on their pages.

"What Would Jesus Drive are fresh, addictive and very 2010. Their ordered chaotic lo-fi fusion sound of electro funk and white garage punk is a welcome distraction in these days of over-produced, save, flat ringtone-friendly music." - Buzzin Music

You can read the review in full HERE.

Having joined forces with EyeSeeSound, the release of the EP will mark the beginning of a busy few months. Together, they will release The Girls Are In Charge EP, a physical version of their debut album Black and Blue and not to mention plenty of free downloads and singles taking them into 2011. The Girls Are In Charge EP is the start of an exciting quest to take the UK scene by storm.
