The Ray Summers Release “Heshka Rashka”!

The Ray Summers release their forthcoming single Heshka Rashka on August 2nd 2010 via Keep Calm Records.

The Scottish six-piece met in 2008, and have since caused waves of joy amongst live gig goers. They've played festivals such as Rockness, T in the Park and The Camden Crawl leading to a number of support slots with established acts including The Bluetones, The Charlatans and Idlewild.

Heshka Rashka shows how The Ray Summers effortlessly meld their boisterous live sensibilities with the ability to convey their sound on record without compromise, and is sure to be the soundtrack to your festival season.

Their influences are taken from a number of genres, which have impacted on their song writing. The boys draw inspiration from the likes of Love, The Coral, The Bees and The Super Furry Animals and expertly combine them with the bands own tongue-in-cheek sense of humour.

The Ray Summers are at T in the Park this weekend. To find out more information about their appearance this weekend and forthcoming shows, please visit the boys' Myspace
