The Cadbury Sisters free download ‘Drifting’ is the latest offering from their recently released second EP Sarah.
‘Drifting’ is a powerfully emotive track, which captures the final stages of a doomed relationship via shimmering modern pop melodies and the sisters’ beautiful vocal harmonies. The track premiered on Exclaim! who described it as a "sophisticated take on pop" -

The Line Of Best Fit also gave 'Drifting' a spin, gaining some insight into the meaning behind the song's poignant lyrics, as well as premiering the track's video, which you can watch now on YouTube.

Coming exactly one year after their debut EP Close, which gained support from the likes of Dave Rowntree (XFM, Blur), NME and Q Magazine, Sarah is an exciting departure from the trio’s folk soaked vocal harmonies that defined their previous output. This is evident in the EP’s gorgeous title track, as well as singles Get This Feeling and Drifting. There are a host of sonic influences, ranging from Fleetwood Mac and Kate Bush to Bat For Lashes and First Aid Kit, boldly displayed alongside lyrics that disclose the siblings’ closely shared personal experiences and melodies that echo their pop-songwriting sensibilities.
The EP is named after the trio's mother, an incredibly strong and important person in their lives. Both the title track and the EP are an exploration of the inner strength and confidence needed to overcome certain situations, such as leaving a toxic relationship or dealing with newfound feelings that you didn’t expect to have for someone.
In the year since their debut EP was released, The Cadbury Sisters have embarked on a UK tour, recorded a single for RAK Records ‘Singles Club’ and played onstage at Hyde Park for Radio 2 Live.

Damien McFly announces ‘Parallel Mirrors’ album!
A multi instrumentalist, a sound engineer and a powerful voice all wrapped up in one, Damien McFly effortlessly blends the acoustic elements of folk with a rock inspired flair for songwriting. Parallel Mirrors is Damien’s debut album, and the follow up to his enchanting single I Can’t Reply.

A powerful collection of heartfelt songs, Damien’s debut channels the best of Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers sound, both bands having been a huge influence on him as he developed as a songwriter. Each instrument on the release has been recorded unplugged, utilising the natural ambience and reverb of specific recording locations to pick up the warmth of live performance on microphone, elevating songs such as ‘Losing Myself’, ‘Reflection’ and the aforementioned single I Can’t Reply to dizzying heights as the fullness of Damien’s guitar envelops his smooth vocal delivery. ‘Don’t Steal My Wish’ is an intricate festival of beats and accordion, creating a traveller-folk atmosphere that will have listeners up on their feet, trying to catch the beat.
Damien McFly is the stage name for Damiano Ferrari, a driven, passionate and charismatic singer from Padova, Italy. Dedicated to live performance, he has played over 200 gigs throughout Europe in less than two years and in the summer of 2014 he crossed the Atlantic to play gigs in Chicago, Indianapolis and Nashville. He recently toured France, Belgium, Holland and Germany as well as gracing the Hard Rock Rocks Acoustic Stage in Edinburgh.
With a series of cover albums under his belt, Parallel Mirrors marks Damien’s first opportunity to present listeners with a collection of songs and a sound that he can truly call his own.

Denim Snakes’ Single Stronger Out Now!
Denim Snakes brand new single Stronger is released today via NOTV Records and is available to buy digitally on iTunes.
The epic video for Stronger premiered on GigSlutz who described the single as "an intense, anthemic ballad." Watch the video now via the band's YouTube channel.

Like some of the most memorable rock ballads of yesteryear, Stronger comes from a place of heartbreak. It’s about mustering up the strength to carry on by picking up your guitar and powering through. And power through they do, with layered melodies, explosive choruses, meaty riffs and drums that passionately pound at your heart.

With the single launching tonight at Camden’s Barfly, and another two singles in the pipeline, Denim Snakes have already tickled the interests of BBC Radio Wales who first named them ‘Introducing Artist Of The Week’ and then ‘Artist Of The Week’, and have been tipped as one of Wales Online’s ’40 Welsh Bands to look out for’. Kapil Seshasayee has re-released his EP Crimes. The EP, complete with updated artwork, is now available to buy digitally on Kapil's own Bandcamp page.
Occupying a space somewhere between the avant-garde and progressive alternative rock, Kapil is carving a name for himself in the air around him, emitting sound waves that dominate the low end and pierce the high. He is one man, surrounding himself in a cocoon of noise that’s both exhilarating to hear and fascinating to watch.
To celebrate the re-release, EP track 'Whatever Was Arranged' has been made available to download for free via the ABoF SoundCloud page where you can experience Kapil's intense industrial rhythms and distinctive vocals for yourself.

Crimes is a record which tackles a number of social issues, pondering the nature of religion and asking us if we are following a tradition for ethical reasons or because we’re so desperate for a place in paradise that we’re willing to get there by any means possible. It’s a weighty theme made even heavier by Kapil’s growling, distorted guitar backed up by intense drum loops and improvised percussion, which brings to mind the later work of Scott Walker as well as the distinctive sound of bands such as Big Black, Fuck Buttons and Bitch Magnet. It’s an intense experience that is not to be taken lightly, but will enlighten those who decide to venture into the sonic wilderness.
The record has picked up support from the likes of Punktastic, State Magazine and Soundblab and is a precursor to a brand new forthcoming single, where Kapil channels the style of influential bands Polvo and U.S Maple, which is due for release in October.

Sofia B announces ‘In The City’ EP!
Heartbreak and music will forever be intertwined. The temptation to dwell on the past can be irresistible, but there is a surefire way to overcome it. Sofia B did so by throwing herself into her latest EP, In The City, six musical snapshots of her life spanning twelve months and two continents.
To commemorate the release of In the City on 18th September, Sofia B is giving away free track, 'King', a Years & Years cover produced by Kandylion. A departure from her usual mellow acoustic sound, the chilled out dance track premiered on Clash Magazine's website which you can stream for free via Sofia's SoundCloud page.

Sofia sees herself first and foremost as a storyteller, using life as her inspiration and a flair for narrative that’s seen her compared to the likes of Kathleen Adams and Tegan & Sara. The first single off the EP, Ice Cold Love, spins a personal tale charting a caustic relationship, but from a place of empowerment, while second single Soldiers was inspired by the internal battles all of us have to face in our lives, acting as a reminder that you are not alone, whatever your fight. These themes run throughout the EP, with tracks like ‘Hurricane’, ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Give My Body’ illuminating slices of of Sofia’s life with stripped back pop arrangements built on folk foundations.
In The City was born one winter in New York City, following an intense break up, songwriting serving as Sofia’s only catharsis. When spring arrived, she realised that her escape from heartbreak to the warm embrace of music had, quite by accident, resulted in her next EP. She boarded the next plane to Beirut to begin recording. Sofia cannot speak Arabic but, proud of her Lebanese roots on her Father’s side, feels a deep connection to Middle Eastern Music. Isolated from her troubles back home, Sofia threw herself into the recording process. Given Beirut’s turbulent and conflicted past, Sofia feels a special sense of peace and accomplishment having made something so beautiful out of such an intense and emotional situation.
