Phantom Invade Topshop!

The lovely Phantom recently released their debut single Great Pretender via Parallax Sounds last week. The band also have a fantastic video for the single, produced by Art.War.Entertainment.

Soon after the release of the video, Topshop / Topman requested it be played in their stores all over the UK! If you're in Topshop / Topman in the next few weeks and see the video being played, please let us know! Take a pic, send us your name and the store location and we'll feature your pics in a special photo album - Phantom Spotted! - if we garner enough piccies! Cheap Tickets for The Paper Chase’s London Show

We're very happy to present to you The Paper Chase live at The Lexington on Wednesday November 11th 2009. The gig is presented in association with our awesome friends over at Kruger Magazine.

Cheap tickets are still on sale but there are not many left now. You can buy a cheap advance ticket for £6 or buy a ticket at the door for £7 on the night.

Doors are at 7.30pm with the first band taking the stage at 8.30pm. Expect guest DJs alongside these fantastic bands.

The Paper Chase will be supported by the wonderful Ex Libras and On Histories of Rosenberg.



Ex Libras are due to release their debut album Suite(s) via Wirebird Records on November 30th 2009. The band recently inveiled their stunning video for their debut single Radar, which will be available as a free download on 26th October 2009.

On Histories of Rosenberg released their self-titled EP in August via Function Records. You can grab a copy for a very reasonable and credit-crunch friendly £5 from HERE.

Phantom on The Quietus!

Phantom's world domination continues! The band released their debut single Great Pretender on September 28th 2009 via Parallax Sounds and the response has been phenomenal.

The Quietus are the latest website to cover the gloomgaze pioneers. Ben Hewitt at The Quietus recently interviewed Phantom's Elsie Martins as part of their new band feature entitled Escape Velocity.

Elsie chats about her love of Victoria London, cats, Agatha Christie and her recipe for the perfect gloomy evening. You can even watch the video for Great Pretender whilst you're at it. The Quietus really do spoil us!
