Argyll Gathering Festival Announces New Artists!
Bombskare, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon Five and more unmissable names added to Argyll Gathering line up!
Following the announcement that major new Helensburgh event Argyll Gathering is to take place August 19th – 20th, exciting new artists have been added.
Breakout band Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5 bring their “Yellow Movement” to Argyll. Having achieved a capacity Barrowland Ballroom crowd, being described as the band of the festival at Zandari Fest in South Korea in October, then selling out the O2 ABC in December, their performance will no doubt wow the crowds. City ska outfit Bombskare, winners of Britain’s Best Part-time Band, juggernaut into Helensburgh with their unique live performance. Have Mercy Las Vegas, Well Happy Band, Ainsley Hamill, Creative Martyrs add to Sunday’s exciting programme. Further weekend additions include, Mickey 9s, BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician finalist Ryan Young, Pippa Reid Foster and Rebecca’s Ruin.
These artists join Runrig‘s Donnie Munro, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Treacherous Orchestra, Bwani Junction who will perform “Graceland” by Paul Simon, Elephant Sessions, Manran, Federation of the Disco Pimp, Jarlath Henderson Band, Blue Rose Code, Daimh, Fat-Suit, Pronto Mama and Nae Plans (Adam Sutherland & Hamish Napier).

With Food From Argyll providing local produce and an array of delicious food, sweet treats, a carefully selected beer and ale bar, an independent spirits bar and children’s entertainment, as well as a community workshop tent, this completes a packed music, arts and culture bill.
