Introducing… East Of My Youth!

For fans of... Anna Of The North, Lykke Li, Grimes, Ider

“...Stylish and soothing…” - Clash

Icelandic synth-pop duo East Of My Youth have released their latest celestial single, Broken Glass, out now via West Of My Future Ltd and available to buy and stream on iTunes and Spotify.

The single premiered on Clash and the video is now available to watch on the band's YouTube channel and VEVO.

The audio is also available to stream on the band's Soundcloud page now.

A majestic, cinematic soundscape, the track soars with shimmering melodies and sweeping vocals throughout. As a result of Herdís Stefánsdóttir’s compositional background, Broken Glass has a dynamic musicality and uses glitchy, synth-infused beats to create something playful yet dark. The outcome is a twinkling slice of dreamy, electro-pop akin to the likes of Anna of the North and Lykke Li.

East Of My Youth was formed in May 2015 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Since then, Herdís and artist Thelma Marín Jónsdóttir have already received praise from a number of well-regarded publications including i-D, The Line of Best Fit and Nordic By Nature to name but a few. They have also wowed crowds at festivals such as SXSWIceland Airwaves and Sonar Reykjavik and now hope to charm further listeners with their captivating, musically rich compositions.

Broken Glass is out now via West Of My Future Ltd and available to buy and stream on iTunes and Spotify.
