Vincent Vocoder Voice’s self-titled debut album - out now!

For fans of... Cardiacs, The Paper Chase, Gang of Four

“Full of gloomy horror film sounds so chilling they’d haunt even Nick Cave’s twisted psyche...”
- NME

“...eerily compelling stuff...”
- Rock Sound

“...Warp-like street smarts, out-there Cardiacs energy and slabs of electric guitar Devin Townsend himself would approve of.”
- Prog Magazine

Vincent Vocoder Voice released his self-titled debut this week to outstanding reviews. The album, released via Brighton based label Sonic Anhedonic Recording Co., has received praise from NME, Rock Sound, Prog Magazine and Artrocker all noting his unforgivingly dark and twisted style.

Following on from his free album track giveaway, the delightfully anarchic 'The Unbearable Heaviness Of Having', Vincent Vocoder Voice has now released the video for another album track, 'MEMEMEMEMEMEMENOW', a gloriously cynical tune with a title that clearly spells out Vincent's bleak opinion on the current state of society.

The video is a collage of fractured narratives and Lynchian style cutaways that literally delve into the core of humanity. It's the perfect fit for an artist who remains hidden behind a mask, passing judgement on himself, his listeners; all of us.

'The Unbearable Heaviness Of Having' is still available to download now via the ABoF Soundcloud page.

Vincent Vocoder Voice is a construct of fevered hypnopompic psychoses and has neither body nor face, choosing symbolic representation through the form of a weeping Pierrot mask. He is not real. But he does exist. He's you. He's everyone.

Vincent Vocoder Voice’s self-titled debut album is out now. However, those looking for catharsis would do well to look elsewhere - Vincent Vocoder Voice has no answers. The album is available to buy now via VVV's Bandcamp page.
