The Marivaux's breathtaking EP, All In Good Time is out now via AWAL

You can watch the video for the EP title track and single via the band's YouTube channel or via the embed below.

You can also download and stream EP track 'Come With Me' for free from the ABoF SoundCloud page.

The EP is about ‘no hopers’; the endless falling, standing and repeating that each generation has to deal with, the overall message being simply to chill out and enjoy the ride. Each track is filled with a classic underground rock sound with lots of good old fashioned noise and lead singer Phil McAdam’s northern slurs completing the package.

The band have already picked up support from the likes of BBC 6Music's Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson as well as BBC Introducing... Manchester, and they've played sold out shows in Manchester as well as abandoned mansions (like the Belgian Embassy) in Rusholme. They have also supported the likes of The Futureheads and George Borowski and have held shows at Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green stores nationwide. The boys are currently touring the UK and will be heading to Europe in November.

All In Good Time was released via AWAL on 10th November 2014 and is available to buy digitally on iTunes.

The five track EP opens with 'Dust to Dust', which immediately introduces the listener to Cara’s gorgeous tone. The track builds with the drums a driving force to a beat that you can’t help but tap your foot to. “...rapier-sharp indie-pop...”
- The Line of Best Fit

Hamburg’s FUCK ART, LET’S DANCE! are setting out on a mini-tour of Scotland as part of the European tour, bringing their upbeat electronic soundscapes to fans in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.

To celebrate the announcement of their first Scottish headline tour, FALD will be releasing album track ‘Juvenile Ghost’ taken from their debut album ATLAS, which drew support from the likes of NME (7/10), The Line Of Best Fit (8/10) and Q Magazine (online).

Unmap release ‘Purify’ video!

For fans of... AlunaGeorge, NZCA/LINES, Blonde Redhead, Grimes

“...unabashedly fun electro mayhem.”
- The Line Of Best Fit

Unmap have released a video for their third single Purify. The track is deliciously dark and angry in comparison to their previous releases, and the video further enhances its atmosphere with a dash of minimalist surrealism.

Check out the video on the Sinnbus YouTube channel.

You can also stream and download 'Purify (La Boum Fatale remix)' on the Sinnbus SoundCloud page or via the embed below.

Unmap’s dark, intricate and quirky electro sound is a head turner. Pirates showcases front woman Mariechen Danz’s, deep, sultry female vocals dancing playfully with the band’s unique take on their modern electro sound. Whether Pirates hits you immediately or slowly grows inside you like an aching hunger, you’ll want to hear more. The video for Pirates also reveals the band’s artistic, avant-garde side, which is no surprise since Mariechen is heavily involved with the modern art scene in Berlin.

Comprised of Mariechen Danz (vocals), Alex Stolze (violin, guitar, electronics), Matthias Geserick (bass) and Thomas Fietz (e-drums), the band started life with Mariechen and Alex with the intention to make music to soundtrack her art performances. However, not before long, the pair’s soulful, lucid melodies took a life of their own and Unmap was born. Alex had previously worked with Berlin based bands Dictaphone and Bodi Bill and as the songs took shape, Matthias and Thomas were added to the mix.

Watch the videos for 'The Gold Route' and Unmap's previous single Pirates via the Sinnbus YouTube channel and stream and download 'ABC (Hierarchy of The Alphabet)' for free from Sinnbus' SoundCloud page.

Purify is available via Sinnbus on iTunes. The album Pressures is also available on iTunes.

If you'd like more information on Unmap or our PR services, please email info@abadgeoffriendship.com.

Introducing… Weikie!

For fans of: Bright Eyes, Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties, Findlay Napier

“A name to watch for!” - Folk Radio UK

Weikie (pronounced ‘why-kee’) is Adam Weikert, multi-instrumentalist, music technician and member of Her Name Is Calla. His second album, Murder Came Before The Word is released via Function Records on 1st December 2014.

You can stream and download album track 'Vixen' via 'Weikie's Bandcamp page.

Vixen by Weikie
Adam’s sound is undoubtedly folk, steeped in Americana but with an ear for modern songwriting and production techniques. The result is an album that could sit proudly beside contemporaries such as Bright Eyes and Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties. He arrived at his sound almost in reverse, using classical, computer and minimalist music as a starting point and absorbing and adapting them into the shape present on the album. It’s less a sound of the past as it is the sound of a future reverted back to a pre-industrial era, with pre-programmed instruments blending seamlessly with clawhammer banjo and electric guitar. It’s a fascinating take that’s sure to appeal to both traditionalists and those with a hunger for the new.

Murder Came Before The Word is the follow up to his EP The Sapling From Ash. The title of the album is a reaction to society’s tendency to scapegoat creative media as the surrogates to violence and ill will. It suggests that evil can sometimes be intrinsic and solitary, that it came before we’d even given it a name. The album is an exploration of the personas of the self, and how they are reflected through the world. The first four tracks are an allegoric exploration of the impacts of war, fidelity and loss across several generations of a family reeling from the Great War. Following this, Adam then allows the listener to peek inside his soul as he attempts to parse and understand the every day world.

Murder Came Before The Word is released via Function Records on 1st December 2014.
