A Genuine Freakshow on EyeSeeSound!



Even though their new double A side single Our Bodies / New Houses is just days away from being unleashed (it's out on Monday 26th September, save that date!), A Genuine Freakshow's previous single release Hopscotch Machine Gun Madness is still picking up great reviews!

Online magazine EyeSeeSound give their brief opinion of the track on page 5
of their new issue
, concluding that the band are "dragging the ordinary into more epic territory".

Next week is a busy one for the band. As well as releasing the new single, they're also heading out on tour. To get an idea of what you'll see onstage, download a free sampler of four tracks from the band's album Oftentimes, and remember to check out the video of the band performing on the BBC Introducing Stage at this years Reading Festival!

The Shaking Sensations on Berlin Beat!



The Shaking Sensations played tracks from their recently released album East Of Youth in Berlin this week. Whilst our favoruite Danish post rockers were in town Jeppe from the band sat down with BerlinBeat for a chat.

Jeppe talks about the bands roots as a Smashing Pumpkins tribute act, broken arms, and the difficulties of writing instrumental music; the full interview is on the Berlin Beat website.

The Unkindness Of Ravens featured in AAA Music!



This Tuesday sees more press for The Unkindness Of Ravens' upcoming single, Virus | Viper, arriving through the ABoF digital letterbox.

AAA Music have posted a feature about the electro two-piece, keeping their readers up to date with news of their double A-side.

Artrocker Magazine (online) have also posted a standalone video feature for Virus, so if you haven't had a chance to watch it yet, head over there now.

Virus | Viper is due for release on 3rd October 2011 via Sonic Fire Records.
