An Endless Room: Competition and Launch!
An Endless Room, an intimate recording studio based in Primrose Hill, London, is launching today! To celebrate the launch, they’ve created a very special competition to showcase some of the UK's best creative talent!
They’re inviting bands and musicians to record a song entitled "An Endless Room". The genre is open-ended and it's up to all entrants to interpret this title as they see fit! The studio will listen to every single application and at the end of the month they’ll decide the winning entry!
The competition winner will receive free studio time at An Endless Room and coverage on their website, where the track will be available to stream and download for free.
The closing date is the 31st July and with the winner announced the following week.
To apply, you will need to:
1. Send an email to mail@anendlessroom.com with your name, phone number and email address. Please also include your band name/artist name, the names of all members of your band (if applicable), your official website and your Myspace, Bandcamp or Soundcloud link.
2. Please also send a link to your track named "An Endless Room" - this can be via WeTransfer, YouSendIt, Soundcloud etc. No file attachments please.

About An Endless Room
Led by a philosophy of ORIGINALITY ABOVE ALL THINGS, An Endless Room is the perfect place to come and be wildly creative. The studio is particularly suited to those writing and recording on the fly, with a huge and constantly growing collection of musical equipment for musicians to utilise - currently over 60 effects pedals, 30 guitars and amps, 10 pianos and synths, 20 vintage and modern microphones, a 70s Ludwig stainless steel drum kit, a Roland TR808 drum machine, Roland RE201 Space Echo and a fog machine.
The studio has an interesting musical heritage having originally formed part of the legendary Utopia Studios in the 1970s and 1980s. During its golden age, people like Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Sting and Freddie Mercury all recorded here.
An Endless Room is owned by Ruby Slippers Records – an independent record label looking to put out a few small-budget releases over the next few years for truly unique artists. If you’re a band recording here they’ll take a listen. If you’re not recording here they’ll still take a listen! Any money generated from the studio will go to funding the label.
There will also be some other rather interesting goings-on over the next few months – watch out for recorded sessions with various bands, interviews and other special features that bands will be able to take part in.
IndianRedLopez featured on Echoes And Dust!
It's only a few weeks until IndianRedLopez' debut album, Empty Your Lungs and Breathe is unleashed upon the public, and the online press is already starting to pour in.
Echoes And Dust are the latest to feature the bands amazing new video for album track, "Ropes", and as if that wasn't enough, you can also download their other album track, "K.Y.S." absolutely free from the site. Not bad for a monday giveaway.

Knifeworld: Classic Rock Track of the Day!
Knifeworld's belter of an EP, Dear Lord, No Deal was released on iTunes this week. And what a week it's been with a flurry of press online for the band who are currently planning on a tour later this year. We're all very excited here at ABoF HQ.
Classic Rock have made the album track "Pilot Her" today's Track of the Day on their website. What a lovely way to end the week!
Dear Lord, No Deal is available now via Believers Roast. You can download the EP for £3.49 from iTunes.

IndianRedLopez The 405 ‘Artist Picks’!
IndianRedLopez have been chosen as The 405 Artist Picks.
The band, who are due to release the debut album Empty Your Lungs and Breathe, did a little Q&A talking about everything from what they are listening to at the moment to their favourite food!
The Scottish five piece have been getting some kind words written about them recently, and if you want to find out why, watch their amazing video for the album track, "Ropes". If that wasn't enough, you can download the free track "K.Y.S" from the A Badge of Friendship Soundcloud page.

Roxanne de Bastion video featured on Clash Music
Roxanne de Bastion's self titled EP was released at the beginning of the week and as well as picking up some cracking reviews, it's also seen her video doing the rounds online.
Clash Music are the latest to feature the delightful video to EP track "Indie Electro Pop". The weather may be terrible today, so perk up your friday with a slice of summer and head over there now to watch it.
