Ex Libras are the band that just keep giving!Their debut album Suite(s), which is out November 30th via Wirebird Records, has received a very generous 7/10 in Clash Magazine. They cite Suite(s) as being a "bold, impressive debut". And how could we argue with that? Of course it is!

Introducing… Lonely Joe Parker & Jackie Paper
We're very happy to be working on Sotones' Lonely Joe Parker & Jackie Paper's digital reissue of their summer release - What's Wrong With Broken Glass EP.The release is available digitally from December 14th 2009 and you can grab a copy on vinyl HERE. All proceeds go to Oxfam.

The collaboration between Lonely Joe Parker and Jackie Paper was born from a tale of woe...
Armed only with a $20 pawnshop guitar on a tour of the US last year, LONELY JOE PARKER found himself robbed in Miami and 1,000 miles from home. The itinerant romantic-in-rags dug deep into Americana, and came up with a set of songs that blend a streets-eye view in the vein of Tom Waits with St. Vincent's sonic vision. The songs earned their creator enough change to make it up to NYC, and upon his return to the Southampton docklands, he wondered why the songs that had earned his own keep couldn't help others too.

The EP has already been featured on BBC South:Live and Balcony.TV, and features members of Modernaire, Peter Lyons, The Moulettes and Moneytree.

Single Release: Tango in the Attic - “Seven Second Stare”
We're extremely happy to be working on, Scots five-piece, Tango in the Attic's radio PR for forthcoming single Seven Second Stare, which is out on 30th November 2009 via Keep Calm Records.
Seven Second Stare is the perfect example of how Tango in the Attic blend their pop and avant-garde influences easily crafting a highly listenable, quirky and original single. B-side "Mirrorface" continues this theme, showcasing the band’s fun tempo riding along off-kilter beats and sing-along vocals.
"They're young, they're fresh, they get sweaty onstage and they make an ace noise! Tango in the Attic combine Vampire Weekend’s sing-a-longs with Strokes-style riffing topped-off with a real emotional edge" - Vic Galloway, BBC Radio Scotland
You can download a press release, listen to a stream of the single and check out more information on the band HERE.
