A Genuine Freakshow’s Reading Diary featured on This Is Fake DIY.

It's no secret that A Genuine Freakshow spent their August bank holiday weekend playing to packed out festival crowds at the Reading and Leeds festivals, and we're very happy to announce that This Is Fake DIY have featured the band's Festival diary from their Reading performance. It provides a great insight into the excitement experienced by a band playing a major festival in their hometown, as well as the trials and tribulations of playing a massive stage without a soundcheck.

You can watch a video of their performance on the BBC Introducing Stage over on the BBC Website.

Before they release their latest single Our Bodies / New Houses on September 26th, they've got a host of festival dates to play, and then they'll be setting off on their headline tour at the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms, stopping at London's 229 and ending with a homecoming show at South Street Arts Centre in Reading.

The band are also giving away a four track sampler, taken from their album, Oftentimes. You can download it by visiting their official site and submitting your details.
