Flower Fellow, aka Colette Olive, presents her sumptous vocals and minimalist instrumentation with the release of her free download track 'The Rope That Ties Us'. This B-side is the perfect accompaniment to her forthcoming single, Madman, released September 4th via Circus City Records.
'The Rope That Ties Us' premiered on Folk Radio UK who described Flower Fellow as "A name to watch for," and The Line Of Best Fit have made the track their 'Song Of The Day'. You can download it for free via Flower Fellow's SoundCloud page.
Hailing from a quiet town on the outskirts of London, Colette’s influences were icons such as Janis Joplin, Jeff Buckley and Stevie Nicks. She also found inspiration in literature, particularly Sylvia Plath and Virginia Wolf, however, it was her move to London to begin Art College when she truly felt like she belonged.
Flower Fellow has already caught the attention of the likes of BBC Introducing, IDOL Magazine and Drunken Werewolf as well as playing live sessions for Mahogany, Daytrotter and Fortitude Magazine.
