Gunning For Tamar play a live session on BBC Oxford “Introducing”

Fantastic news for our friends Gunning For Tamar. They were recently featured on BBC Oxford, and given the chance to showcase some of the tracks from their forthcoming EP - Deaf Cow Motel.

The Oxford based four piece not only got the chance to hear their EP track "German Treasure Island" played on air, but they were also invited to sit down for a chat with BBC Introducing presenter, Dave Gilyeat. They discuss the trials and tribulations of releasing an MP3, the joy of anagrams and paying for music videos with chinese takeaways. They then take to the studio to perform a cracking live session for the show.

The show will only be up on iPlayer for the next three days, so get yourself over there post haste.

You can also watch a video of the lads performing "Bonfires", taken from their Introducing session and posted on the BBC News Oxfordwebsite.

Deaf Cow Motel will be released via Walnut Tree Records and will be available to buy on CD and Download 30th May 2011.
