Talons talk to Subba-Cultcha, plus Room Thirteen live review.

Talons top today's news, with a double whammy from the wonderful world of online press. First off the bat are Subba-Cultcha, who've managed to get bassist Chris Hicks to sit still long enough for a quick Q and A session. So get yourself over to Subba-Cultcha for the inside scoop on album Hollow Realm, life on the road and the UK's burgeoning independent scene. There are also a few videos of the lads performing live you can check out while you're there.

"You should all make your new years resolution for 2011 to see this band live, I promise you will not regret it..." - Room Thirteen

The cherry on this Talon flavoured cake is a cracking live review, provided by the folks at Room Thirteen who braved the January cold to catch the lads' live set at The Vibe Bar. It was all worth it though, as R13 had such a great time they awarded the show 13/13.

Not a bad start to the year for the Hereford six-piece.

Hollow Realm was released on Big Scary Monsters, and can be bought via Amazon or downloaded via iTunes.
