The Moth & The Mirror have been proclaimed as a Scottish supergroup, comprising of members taken from an array of Scottish talent including: Stacey Sievwright from The Reindeer Section and Arab Strap (vocals/guitar), Gordon Skene from Frightened Rabbit (guitar/vocals), Louis Abbott from Admiral Fallow and Song of Return (guitar/vocals) Kevin McCarvel (bass), Iain Sandilands (percussion) and Peter Murch (drums).

The band are giving away a remix of the single - "Germany (Headron Remix)". The track is available to download free via the ABoF SoundCloud page.

The Moth & The Mirror have already built themselves quite the reputation, making appearances at T in the Park, Connect Festival, The West End Festival, Belladrum and Sounds in the Grounds on the Isle of Lewis. They have also supported the likes of Snow Patrol, Band of Horses, Frightened Rabbit, Asobi Seksu, Tilly And The Wall and The Constantines and were one of the featured artists on Conor Oberst’s (Bright Eyes) Team Love, alongside Gruff Rhys and Jenny Lewis.
Honestly, This World will be released on 7th November 2011 via Olive Grove Records as a download and limited edition CD.

Another fantastic review for The Birthday Suit's upcoming debut album,The Eleventh Hour, this afternoon.

While The Birthday Suit have unfortunately had to postpone their upcoming tour, they're still picking up some great press online for their upcoming album, The Eleventh Hour.
AAA Music caught up with Rod Jones last week to quiz the Idlewild guitarist and songwriter about his latest solo project, asking him about the band's origins and his work with the Fruit Tree Foundation.
