Mimas Video for “Vader in Burgos” featured on NME website!
Danish band Mimas have had their new video for the track "Vader in Burgos" featured on the NME website! This follows on from last week when the song "La Moustache Formidable" was the NME's Daily Download.

Lifejackets will be released via Big Scary Monsters on October 25th 2010. The band also plan to tour the UK in October to support the release. They land in London on October 26th at The Luminaire supported by our very own Union Sound Set and Ex Libras.

News: ABoF TV has arrived!
After months of filming and planning, we're finally on track and ready to release a plethora of wonderful video content on our website via our Vimeo channel. The first episode of ABoF TV features These Monsters. We filmed the boys back in February when they hit The Lexington in London. They were touring to support their debut album release Call Me Dragon.The viral for episode one is up now. If you can't see the Vimeo player below, the viral can be viewed HERE or HERE.

ABoF TV & Overthrow|Film
ABoF TV was filmed in conjunction with Overthrow|Film - a creative and innovative film production company. They produce gorgeous, high quality content for a wide range of clients, musicians, artists and professionals such as EA, hip-hop artist Remus, Head Hacking, magician Ravi Maya and many more.
The Overthrow|Film crew are a closely knit team of specialists with a strong background in film theory, post-production, cinematography and sound design. Working closely with Overthrow|Sound - a full sound post-production facility - they offer an efficient back end to their film production outfit.
It made perfect sense that Paul ABoF and Jonas Overthrow started working closely together to develop ABoF TV. It's been a creative vision that Paul has been developing for a while, taking inspiration from the likes of Pearl Jam's Single Video Theory and Fugazi's Instrument. The idea was to promote good music in way that is removed from the typical mainstream packaging of music video content and music shows.
Each episode is filmed in a documentary style combining Paul's love of aesthetics and passion for the music. ABoF TV uses no gimmicks, no shiny white-toothed presenters and not an ounce of gimmicky shaky-cam in sight!

Mimas - Today’s NME “Daily Download”!
What a wonderful start to a dreary September morning. Awesome Danish boys Mimas are today's Daily Download on the NME's website. Not only do you get the chance to download "La Moustache Formidable" from their forthcoming second album Lifejackets but you also get to download a track from their first album as well - "Mac Get Your Gear".

Union Sound Set Start Street Team and Announce Single Launch!
Union Sound Set are coming up for a real busy month with the release of single Hiding Places followed swiftly by debut album Start/Stop. With this in mind, the band thought they would seek a little help from YOU to help spread the word about all things Union!
If you love the band and would like to become a member of 'The Set', then read on.

Cancel The Astronauts Feature on Best In British Music Show!
Cancel The Astronauts have featured on the Best In British Music Show with Tara O! The band got an airing on the September 17th show in which the track Things I Shouldn't Tell You was played. The song is taken from the forthcoming EP Funny For A Girl.
You can listen to the tune and the rest of the radio show, which features the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Wild Beasts and Four Tet, HERE.
The brilliant Funny For A Girl EP is due to for release on October 15th and highlights a sound of a band in their element. Subtly quirky, down to earth but still plenty ambitious, this EP represents five songs to get very excited about.
The EP will be available in physical and digital formats.
