- Dork“...a cinematic treat..."
- ClashSinger-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Callum Easter's emotive EP Get Don’t Want is out now via Soulpunk. It is available to stream on Spotify and buy on iTunes.
The video for Feelings Gone premiered on Clash and is also available to watch via Soulpunk's YouTube channel.
The audio premiered on Dork you can also stream it via Soulpunk’s SoundCloud page.
Impossible to pigeonhole, Callum Easter is able to conjure an electrifying and eclectic fusion of sounds on Get Don’t Want. Combining the profound spoken word observations of John Cooper Clarke with a rich musicality, this EP showcases the vast expanse of what Easter is capable of, not-to-mention leaving you with a lasting memory of a unique artist.
Opening with the raw, uplifting, blues rock sounds of ‘Feelings Gone’, the EP then transcends into something quite different. Think of Syd Barrett dancing a zombie foxtrot with Alex Harvey in Lee Scratch Perry's front parlour whereas Get Don’t Want provides a wonderfully rich, dystopian soundscape.
As ‘Want It Sometime’ oozes glitchy beats alongside impassioned spoken word vocals, ‘Chemo Bells’ is filled with a disturbing yet alluring cacophony of sounds. The following tracks ‘Second Space’ and ‘Imaginary People’ continue in this vein, pulsating with eerie, jilted beats and profound poetic observations, creating an intense sense of impending doom.
However, Get Don’t Want goes full circle. Closing track ‘Little Burden’ flows with bluesy harmonica and gentle fairground melodies, reminiscent of Devendra Banhart’s early work, thus sandwiching the dark glitchy filling of this EP with something softer and more palatable.
Musician, poet, producer and songwriter, Callum Easter’s talents are wide-ranging and showcased exquisitely on Get Don’t Want - a creation that’s sure to propel him to success.

- Louder Than War
“...a powerful blast of indie-rock that’ll leave you hungry for more."
- Gigslutz
Following on from their last, riff-infused track Club House Killer, identical twins Daniel and Graeme Ross - aka Gallery Circus - have just released their brand new single The Flood out now via Killing Moon Records and available to buy on iTunes and stream on Spotify.
The single premiered on Gigslutz and is now available to stream on the Gallery Circus Soundcloud page
Blasting their infectious sound into your eardrums, the brothers have created another riotous track, sucking you in through its raucous, unbridled energy; thrashing riffs rage alongside uptempo beats and impassioned vocals as the track . Building to an intense, pummelling climax, the track oozes shades of the likes of You Me At Six, Taking Back Sunday and Motion City Soundtrack as its catchy hooks soar with a raw, energy-fuelled edge. Accompanied by a rather gruesome video (due for release next year), think Game of Thrones The Red Wedding meets Falling Down, Gallery Circus continue to prove that their boisterous sound is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
Having played together in various bands all their lives, Daniel and Graeme eventually decided to form Gallery Circus while they were living in Chicago. Over the past year the duo have quickly built up a reputation as being one of the UK’s most formidable new live bands and have supported acts such as Hanni El Khatib, King Charles, Little Comets, Kill it Kid and Arcane Roots.
Set to release an EP in 2017, Gallery Circus have already received praise from a plethora of well-regarded publications including The 405, The Crack, Q Magazine, Louder Than War and The Metro as well as BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Jen Long and BBC Radio 6 to name but a few. Now, with the truly infectious single The Flood, Gallery Circus look set to continue to spread their explosive sound across the UK and beyond.
The Flood by Gallery Circus is out now via Killing Moon Records and available to buy on iTunes and stream on Spotify.
K V A S I R releases stunning video for ‘Motion’!

“...a heady, warped piece of euphoric techno-pop…” - The Line of Best Fit
"...multi-layered colour." - Clash Magazine
Electronic solo artist K V A S I R has released his stunning new video for the track 'Motion', taken from his self-titled EP, which is out now via KV10 Records, and available to buy on iTunes and stream on Spotify.
The video premiered on The Skinny and is now available to watch on the K V A S I R YouTube channel.
The EP itself streamed exclusively on Clash Magazine's website, which followed hot on the heels of the free download track 'First Throws' which premiered on The Line of Best Fit. 'First Throws' is free to download and stream on the K V A S I R Soundcloud page.
Consisting of four unique tracks, the EP flows with vibrant, glitchy beats; pulsing arpeggiators; discreet and dream like vocals and a sweeping sense of joy. This is modern take on dance music offering relief from the invasion of big room EDM. K V A S I R is hugely inspired by the way in which music combines with visuals and, in particular, film; recently having been impressed by the 80’s inspired sound reinvigorated by the likes of S U R V I V E (Stranger Things, The Guest) and Cliff Martinez (Drive).
Big screen influences are particularly evident on tracks such as ‘Exchange’, which K V A S I R was inspired to write after watching Oliver Stone’s Wall Street. This in turn fed into the concept behind ‘First Throws’, which reflects on how wealth and greed, brought about by a capitalist society, affect the quiet, introspective moments before we fall asleep. While ‘Lyon’ sees K V A S I R reflect on mistakes made in the past, determined never to make them again; a sentiment we can all identify with.
With his innovative style combining elements of 80’s and 90’s dance music, allied to an intense live show married with visual art, K V A S I R looks set to bring dancefloors across the world to life with his soaring new creations.
Self-titled EP K V A S I R out now via KV10 Records and available to buy on iTunes and stream on Spotify.

A follow up to the recently released single Idea Jar, the St. Louis collective have created another whimsical track; beguiling the listener through its sheer elegance. Repetitive piano opens the song, hypnotically pulling you in, as gorgeous harmonised vocals soothingly wash over you, enhanced further by simple, yet effective, acoustic guitar and knitted together neatly by an expertly executed percussion section. The lyrics poignantly explore themes of love, loss and what could have been; topics we can all identify with. Jailbox have once again proven their ability to write emotionally powerful music; a sonic equivalent to an arrow through the heart.
Comprised of Andrew Tanz (vocals, keyboards, guitar, bass, percussion), Joseph Bassa (vocals, guitars, percussion), Aaron Essner (percussion, drums) and Trent Dickerson (bass, vocals) Jailbox formed in 2009 as a moniker for their home recordings which was taking place in their home state of Missouri. After going on hiatus for two years, the 2015 writing and recording of Idea Jar marked a welcome return for the band and was the start of a creative period that has seen the release of one single and video and has been quickly followed by the stunning single Whole.
Having supported the likes of Vetiver, Devendra Barnhart, Still Corners, Daniel Johnston and Pines as well as playing renowned venue Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown as part of Coachella, Jailbox are aiming to end 2016 on a high by showcasing their ethereal sound to a world-wide audience.
