Death of London’s brand new video for “This is Japan”!

With Death of London about to release their third EP on Function RecordsThe Independent State of Death of London – on 5th April, we thought we would put you in the mood by letting you have a sneaky peak at the brand spanking new video!

The video was made for the rockin' "This is Japan" from the EP and in the words of the boys themselves it "turned out alright for no budget and two hours of heavy drinking"!

You can watch the full video below:

Death of London: This Is Japan from W&B on Vimeo.

The EP showcases the band’s influences, ranging from Shellac to the Pixies to Nirvana. However, these influences don’t limit the band to one sound. Having shared a stage with Sepultura and Part Chimp, Death of London easily bridge the gap between alternative rock and metal.

The EP is an example of their diverse style ranging from the sludgy sounds of grunge to the intertwining rock riffs akin to Tool. Death of London are definite ones to watch on the rock / metal scene and are sure to win you over with their talent for making sheer unabashed heavy music a delightfully rewarding listening pleasure.

ABoF News: Empire Magazine Awards, ABoF TV and more!

The evenings are getting lighter, the weather is ever warmer and with the onset of spring we're all feeling positive and happy here and ABoF towers! We won't keep babbling for too long, let's just go straight to our latest news round-up.

As ever, if you want to contact us about PR, DJ-ing at events and aftershows or just wanna' drop us a wee "hello" via email, please contact us here: info [at] abadgeoffriendship [dot] com.

Empire Magazine Awards 2010

We've been asked to DJ at the Empire Magazine Awards aftershow this Sunday at Soho House. It's been a little while since we've graced the decks but we're really looking forward to spinning some fine tunes this Sunday evening. Our buddies, the most excellent Jo & Danny, will also be playing a fine selection of tunes. They also happened to share the decks with us last August at the Kerrang! Awards Aftershow 2009.

ABoF TV

We were hoping to get ABoF TV up and running this month but we've been subject to some delays. However, good things come to those who wait and we can tell you right now it's going to be ace! The first installment features footage from the These Monsters album launch back in February, an interview with the band, Function Records and live performances from These Monsters and Shield Your Eyes.

Special super, duper thanks to Overthrow Productions - without them ABoF TV would not be possible.

New Additions!

"New additions?" we hear you cry? Yes, our roster is positively bursting with lovely musical goodies. Our latest additions to the PR roster are the wonderful Juniper Leaf from London and the excellent Chris Leo's Vague Angels from NYC.

Juniper Leaf release their debut album Broom, Briars, Torches from the Fire in June. The album is a gorgeous example of a modern day pysche-folk band creating wonderful heartfelt imagery through their emotive melodies.

You may have heard of Chris Leo before - he was in two brilliant cult indie bands, The Lapse and The Van Pelt in the 90s. Chris is back with his latest project, Chris Leo's Vague Angels, with the album The Sunny Day I Caught Tintarella di Luna for a Picnic by the Cemetery, also in June.

More Amazing Radio Fun

It seemed our rambling nonsense went down well with those chaps over at Amazing Radio last month so they've asked us back again. We'll be chatting about unsigned bands end of April. Watch this space for more details!
