The Birthday Suit featured on New Music Matters!
Great news for The Birthday Suit today, as New Music Matters with Gill Mills have featured "Do You Ever", a track taken from the album The Eleventh Hour, on their latest show. Head over there and have a listen.
Although The Eleventh Hour is due for release on 11th of November 2011 (that's 11.11.11) via Sing It Alone Records, the band have made the album available to download from their official website today at a special early bird price for fans - £5!

Mausi enjoy an online news explosion!
We've had a veritable news explosion this week for Mausi's latest single Sol!
KYEO.tv picked the track as their "Single Of The Week", towards the end of September, featuring a great write up, a SoundCloud link to the tune and their video. Head over there and check it out.
Quiff Pro 'Fro followed suit, with an impressive review that also featured the band's single, and video, embedded into the page.
The 405 have featured the Channel Swimmer Remix of the single on their page, as well as TapeMixTape, who have gone one better by featuring the original mix, as well as the remix and video.
Finally, BBC 6 Music like the video for Sol so much, they featured it as their video of the week in mid-September.
Sol was officially released this week via Racecar Music. You can download it via the band's official website.

The Unkindness Of Ravens “Viper” video featured on Artrocker Magazine (online)!
More news to warm the hearts of The Unkindness Of Ravens while they spread the word about their latest single, Virus | Viper: Artrocker Magazine (online) have featured the seductive video for Viper on their site. If you haven't had a chance to watch it yet, clear a few minutes in your schedule and check it out. You won't be disappointed!
Virus | Viper is released via Sonic Fire Records. The single is available to buy on iTunes, but you can buy it cheaper via the band's Bandcamp page.

The Birthday Suit: Early Bird Album Download & Tour Announced!
Idlewild guitarist / songwriter Rod Jones, is back with a remarkable new solo project, The Birthday Suit. Their debut album, The Eleventh Hour, is a return to the noisy pop moments that originally established him as a legend in the UK music scene. Although the album is officially released on 11.11.11 at 11am (nice and easy to remember!), the band have made the album available to download from their official website today at a special early bird price for fans - £5!

With Idlewild currently on hiatus, Rod has been busy the last few years with a range of projects, including working with the Scottish Mental Health Foundation on the Music Like A Vitamin shows in 2008, the release of his debut solo album, the folk-tinged A Sentimental Education in 2009 and spending 2010 teaming up with Emma Pollock to bring together artists from Frightened Rabbit, Twilight Sad (among others) on the critically acclaimed First Edition album as part of the Fruit Tree Foundation.
The Eleventh Hour is officially released on 11th of November 2011 via Sing It Alone Records.

The Blood Arm hit the UK!
The Blood Arm make their return to the venues of the UK this October for a ten date tour. These shows will give their UK fans the first chance to hear tracks from their recently released album Turn and Face Me and they kick-start their tour tonight in London!
For a taster of what to expect on the tour, you can watch The Blood Arm's brand new live video for the track "She's A Guillotine".
Our very own Keith Top of the Pops & His Minor UK Indie All-Star Backing Band will be joining The Blood Arm on tour for all the dates apart from the 18th in London and the 19th in Windsor. Keith just released his debut album Fuck You! I'm Keith Top of the Pops which Artrocker Magazine hailed as their Album of the Month for September.

Turn and Face Me's release earlier this summer saw reviewers everywhere making positive noises about the band's latest release. Uncut said the band "evoke a classic lineage of ramshackle boho party-rock" whilst WORD compared the band's chorus' to the similarly "lyrically smart" Arctic Monkeys.
