It's time for another Sofar Sounds special on A Badge Of Friendship's New Music show, so the gang have invited in Chris Lloyd to showcase some of the bands he's been buzzing off this month. In a true demonstration of his dedication, he arrives in the studio fresh from an exam!


The trio also decide to get into the spooky spirit of all hallows eve by asking listeners to name their scariest tracks, and to tell them which famous musical icon they'd dress up for on Halloween.

This week team ABoF enter the murky and mysterious world of conspiracy theories!

The gang are joined on the phone by party animal, motivational speaker and all round lovely guy Andrew WK, who discusses dealing with a conspiracy theory claiming he simply does not exist.


The trio also talk to Jeremy Allen, who wrote NME blog ‘The 9 Most Batshit Crazy Conspiracy Theories In Pop’, about his favourite showbiz conspiracies.

Of course, Paul, Claire and Ed couldn't resist talking about their favourite theories plucked from the dark corners of the internet, but whose is the most credible? Listen and find out.

A Badge of Friendship on FUBAR - Ep. 27 ‘Best of ABoF’ feat Armando Iannucci & The Twilight Sad


The gang were out celebrating Claire's birthday this week, so they put together their second 'Best Of Show' collecting their favourite interviews and tracks from the last few months.

Highlights include Emmy Award winning writer and director Armando Iannucci who talks them through his process for choosing music for TV and film, and interviews with James from The Twilight Sad, Matt from Dinosaur Pile-Up and James from Pulled Apart By Horses.
